JBPelhamPR to work with Lisson Gallery
Following a competitive three-way pitch JBPelhamPR has been awarded the PR campaign for the Lisson Gallery. Over the past forty years Lisson Gallery has built an unparalleled reputation for identifying and supporting succeeding generations of artists, each with a radical and distinctive approach. The agency brief is to develop and execute a strategic UK and international campaign across all of Lisson Gallery’s activities including exhibitions at the two Bell Street galleries, artist participation in museum shows, art fairs and other external initiatives undertaken by the Gallery. The account was awarded on the strength of JBPelhamPR’s proven expertise in cultural projects, their diverse contacts and their strong creative ideas. JBPelhamPR will also consult on a range of marketing initiatives alongside the PR campaign, thereby ensuring that both internal and external Lisson Gallery projects receive maximum coverage.

Hemmerle Harmony Bangle to join the permanent jewellery collection of the Victoria and Albert Museum
In October 2010 Hemmerle will have its contribution to jewellery history recognised internationally when its Harmony Bangle will join the permanent collection of the William and Judith Bollinger Jewellery Gallery at London’s Victoria and Albert Museum. The bangle, a consummate example of Hemmerle design, is crafted in red patinated copper and white gold, with cherry-red pavé spinels capping the ends. Referring to the famous stone that has belonged to the British royal family since it was presented to Queen Victoria in 1851 Christian Hemmerle says: “The red spinel gemstones are reminiscent of Queen Elizabeth’s Timur Ruby, which makes this a particularly suitable choice for the V&A”.
